Kem Branum

Kem has been involved in church music for most of her life, beginning to play piano in church around the age of 10 and becoming a part-time staff member at 14. She went on to serve at that church for 36 years. After an ATV accident and surgery in 2006, she was invited to First Baptist Church Andersonville and has been here ever since. Kem says that coming to FBCA brought a renewed sense of purpose and joy to her heart,  and she is thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord and the church through music.

Kem married her high school sweetheart,  Jim,  in 1977. God has blessed them with two children, Heather and her husband Andrew,  and Lance and his wife Elizabeth. In her spare time,  Kem enjoys a variety of crafts and outdoor activities.
