Jerry Loveday
Minister of Music
Jerry joined our staff in September 2012. He enjoys using a blended song service to incorporate the truths of the traditional hymns with the freshness of the new songs to allow us to praise our God with a heart of praise.
His philosophy of church music is based on Psalms 66: 1-4, "Shout joyfully to God, all the earth! Sing about the glory of His name; make His praise glorious. Say to God, “How awe-inspiring are Your works! Your enemies will cringe before You because of Your great strength. All the earth will worship You and sing praise to You. They will sing praise to Your name.”
"I believe God created music and that it reaches its highest meaning when we use it to worship Him. God has gifted each of us with talents and abilities, and we find the greatest joy and fulfillment when we use them to praise our Lord. I invite everyone who loves to sing to come and help us make a 'joyful noise unto the Lord.' "
